HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR GUTTERS CLEANED?

Answer:

We recommend cleaning your gutters 4 times a year:

  • EARLY FALL---mid to late October.  This cleaning not only removes the leaves deposited into the gutters after heavy summer rains but will also help in the event of an early freeze.
  • LATE FALL---late November to early December.  Removal of all of the fall leaves and debris will help protect the gutters over the winter.
  • EARLY SPRING---mid to late March.  The rough winter weather pulls the twigs, leaves, and debris off the trees.  This is also the time when animals make their nests.  This is the cleaning that will prepare your home for the April showers.
  • LATE SPRING---mid to late June.  This is the time when seed pods and other blossoms finish falling.  These will clog the gutters and the leaders.  When these pods germinate you can have a garden growing in your gutters.

Question:

WHEN IS IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE GUTTERS?

Answer:

If you notice that your home or commercial property's exterior has any mold on it or peeling paint, it may be a sign that your gutters need fixing or replacing.
Snow and ice can build within the gutter and cause leaks or damage. 
The weight from clogs and debris can cause a gutter to pull away from a house and start to sag.  They may not be sloped properly and therefore not doing their job of channeling the water away from your building. 
Another sign that gutters aren't working properly is if your basement is damp or there are cracks in the foundation. The gutters may be clogged, causing the water to flow over the sides resulting in water buildup around your foundation.

ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?

Answer:

We are licensed in Nassau County, New York. We carry General Liability Insurance and we are fully insured in the event of an accident or damage while on your property. We also carry Worker's Compensation Insurance to cover any employee injuries. We will provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request.

ARE YOUR EMPLOYEES EXPERIENCED?

Answer:

Yes, all of our employees are experienced.  We have different employees who specialize in their fields---cleaning, installation, and repairs.  We are proud to have some of the few, if only, fully insured, professionally trained gutter crews in Nassau and Suffolk County, New York.  We provide quality services at prices that are often the same or lower than non-insured companies.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHEN MY GUTTER SERVICES ARE PERFORMED?

Answer:

No, we know how valuable your time is.  We'll do a professional job and if you are unable to be home at the time of service we'll leave an itemized invoice.  You can pay using your method of choice.

HOW  MUCH WILL IT COST?

Answer:

Each project is unique.  Prices are based on the style of the structure, pitch of the roof, linear footage, existing gutter guards, height, and difficulty of the specific job. You can give us a call or submit a request online for a free estimate.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT?

Answer:

Answer:

Payment may be made at the time of completion of services with cash, personal 
check or credit card.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL AT THE DOOR?

Answer:

If we arrive at your door after you have received an exact price quote and we incur the time and expense of sending a crew to your home there is a $75.00 trip charge.

Question:

CAN WEATHER AFFECT MY SERVICE DATE?

Answer:

Yes, heavy rain, snow, overnight temperatures below freezing, or other 
unpredictable occurrences can cause a service date to be postponed.  In this 
event we will attempt to reach you BEFORE your scheduled appointment to make other arrangements.
